Here are a few photos to cool you off as he start to hit the 90's this week in central Indiana. Just east of Indianapolis, off of I-70 is Greenfield, the count seat of Hancock County. Hancock County's courthouse is gorgeous! Near one the entrances, stands a statue of beloved Hoosier poet, James Whitcomb Riley. Riley was from Greenfield, his home is just a few blocks away from the courthouse. James Whitcomb Riley is named after one of his father's friends, James Whitcomb. James Whitcomb was the eighth governor of Indiana and considered one of the most successful at the post.

| The James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children is named after Riley. He is buried in Indianapolis at Crown Hill Cemetery. People toss coins on his grave and those coins are collected and donated to the hospital. |
